Dorothy Shannon, CNM NP, completed her nursing program and received her Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1975. Dorothy has worked in women’s health since that time and returned to further education and received her Masters of Science in Nursing/Nurse Midwifery from the University of Colorado and her Certification of Midwifery from the American College of Nurse Midwives in 1983.

Dorothy joined PWC in September 2002, Dorothy provides a compassionate and patient-friendly environment allowing women to take that extra time and effort to answer questions and educate.

She and her husband enjoy the benefits of an ever-growing family, travel and anything that takes them outdoors!

Little Known Fact: In “Dots” opinion, she likes to tap dance!
