Toni Myers, RN, IBCLC
Toni Myers RN, IBCLC has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant for 12 years. Prior to her 14 years at Pacific Women’s Center she was a Pediatric Nurse at Sacred Heart Medical Center. She has helped many mom/baby dyads with a variety of breastfeeding issues and classes since 1998.
Lactation is a very rewarding part of her job here at Pacific Women’s Center because she gets to work with moms and babies throughout their breastfeeding experience not just in the immediate post partum.
The lactation classes are free, generally held once per month, for Pacific Women’s Center patients, and it is recommended to be taken 1-2 months prior to the date the baby is due.
My job as a lactation consultant is not to tell you that you must breastfeed your baby but to provide you with the information that will guide you in making an informed decision. – Toni Myers
